On April 6, 1988, amid joys and sorrows, I had the opportunity to come to this life. I was born into a low-income family with a father who had a great desire to excel, and a mother eager to give love. I spent the early years of my life working on the streets. This was my life from the age of 7 years old, surviving day by day. The streets were for me, a maze of games, and where I made good and not-so-good friends. When I reached adulthood, I looked back upon all those experiences, and I realized that my life had given me many lessons, and I wanted to contribute and give a helping hand to those who find themselves in a similar situation now. Those who once saw their dreams, but now only see despair. That’s why I decided to quit my job as a pilot and open Awaken Foundation. Since then, I have been working every day on our projects and programs here at Awaken.
